The Company:

Our client is a leading identity confirmation and fraud investigation regulatory technology (reg-tech) firm. Their KYC & customer on-boarding platform blends UI & UX tools with a unique range of identity verification technologies to maximise the success of customer onboarding and increase the integrity of KYC processes. Their enhanced due diligence platform is a unique data visualisation service that uncovers intelligence on addresses, people and businesses. The platform is used by fraud investigators and compliance teams to investigate fraud, and identify shareholders, directors, and Persons of Significant Control.

The Position:

This role is focused on assisting the technical team in maintaining a high level of system quality in terms of errors, bugs, reliability and performance, as well as supporting the enforcement of compliance with company test policy, technical and procedural standards. The Candidate will be responsible for assisting the driving of effective Quality Assurance (QA) for the technical systems that support the full range of company systems and processes. This is a hands-on role that will involve the testing processes to be followed for all phases. QA responsibilities will include testing of systems before and after live promotion, to understand specifications, writing documents, creating manual test scripts, and delivery of all test activities throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Key role requirements:

  • Performing hands-on QA activities to improve QA productivity
  • Assisting in ongoing testing from development to live environment
  • Assist with Quality Assurance policy, process and methodology development, implementation and execution
  • Assisting with creating and maintaining test automation and test cases
  • Participating in software requirements definition process to assist in defining QA related tasks
  • Assist in raising and documenting defects, writing test cases, test plan
  • Compliance with company standards and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Experience in creating, executing and maintaining test cases
  • Excellent manual testing skills
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience in Mobile testing
  • Looking at root cause of defects and providing detailed steps to replicate
  • Good time management skills and meeting tight deadlines
  • Very good level of English

Good to have, but not necessary:

  • Experience of any scripting or programming language, or with test automation technologies like Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with banking or fintech software testing
  • Experience with QA tools and processes within an Agile-based development environment.
