Trainee BI/Looker Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Trainee Power BI Engineer who will be responsible for the development and operational support of BI reports (mostly Power BI), working as a part of one or more agile teams as a Power BI developer: analysis and implementation of reports, dashboards, data models

Requirements:

• Experience in SQL, relational database concepts, troubleshooting (data understanding, merging, cleaning, visualization)
• Development and support expertise in Looker or PowerBI or similar
• Understanding of software development life cycle models
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly in order to understand different business areas
• The capability of handling multi-tasking activities
• Good command of English

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation
